3 Nighttime Habits That Lead to Success

We’ve heard about helpful daily habits, but what are some nighttime habits that lead to success?

We’ve all heard about the effects a balanced breakfast can have on increasing your productivity and how important it is to help you start your day off right.

But what other habits can lead us to succeed and do more?

Believe it or not, some of the best ways to increase your productivity today start with habits you’ve put into place the night before. That’s because your chances of success and level of productivity increase depending on your nighttime habits. Here are three nighttime habits that lead to success.

Unplug and disconnect

As an entrepreneur, I am always scouting the internet for new ideas and information – any time of the day. But when it’s time to hit the hay, I try to unplug – and you should too. That’s because the light that’s emitted from electronics like your smartphone or E-reader actually interrupt your body’s natural circadian rhythms, making it more difficult for you to fall asleep.

Check your schedule

Take a page out of President Obama’s book and review your to-do list for tomorrow, tonight. Knowing what your schedule will look like the evening before will help you run through your morning more smoothly.

Wind Down

Reading before bedtime is a great habit that will lead you to succeed. Not only will it lead to increased knowledge, but reading before bed for only 6 minutes will help reduce your anxiety and stress by up to 68 percent.
